Nathaniel Fitzwilliam "Nate" Archibald was born to Howard Archibald, a successful business magnate, and Anne Archibald. Through his mother, Nate is related to the Vanderbilt family. Nate is best friends with Chuck and Dan. He dated Blair on and off from elementary through the end of High School. He had a fling with Jenny that had to be ended due to dan(her brother)'s disapproval. He dated Serena in college but he was too close to Jenny and Serena was too close to Dan, and that along with other things caused them to break up. He also dated a married woman and had a pretty long on.off relationship with Vanessa, but he eventually dumped Vanessa for Blair and because Vanessa is irritating. Serena and Blair were the only two girls her ever said he loved. but Jenny is the only girl he ever really seemed to be in love with. When he is with her, he seems to go weak in the knees, and he seems to have a way of always putting her before everything else.
